Performance Optimization

Ultra-fast sites for better user experience and better SEO ranking

Loading speed directly impacts your SEO and conversions. I optimize your sites for maximum performance on all devices.

Performance audit

Complete analysis of your site with professional tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest). Identification of bottlenecks and prioritized recommendations.

Core Web Vitals

Optimization of Google metrics (LCP, INP, CLS) that influence your ranking. Sites that load in less than 2 seconds.

Continuous optimization

Performance monitoring and regular adjustments. I ensure your site stays fast despite content changes.

Images, fonts, and JavaScript

Most of a page’s weight comes from three sources: oversized images, render-blocking fonts, and unused scripts. Converting to modern formats (WebP, AVIF), deferred loading, and cleaning up third-party code: every kilobyte saved is felt.

A measurable gain, not a promise

Every optimization is measured before and after, using the same tools Google uses. You receive a report with hard numbers: Lighthouse scores, real-world Core Web Vitals, and the expected impact on your rankings.

Each card states the exact scope of the mission, and each one has its own case study.

Optimize, rebuild, or switch hosting?

A slow site doesn’t always call for the same fix. Here are the three classic paths and how to know which one fits your situation.

My approach

Audit + targeted optimizations

Measure first, fix second. The audit identifies the real bottlenecks, and every optimization is quoted with its expected gain. In most cases, load time drops by a factor of 3 without touching the design.

If the foundation is outdated

Full rebuild

Makes sense when the tech is end-of-life: an abandoned CMS, a bloated theme impossible to lighten, a dated design. More costly, but sometimes more cost-effective than optimizing a doomed foundation. The audit lets us decide honestly.

Rarely enough on its own

Switching hosting

The most common reflex, and the least effective one: hosting often accounts for only 10 to 20% of load time. Useful as a complement (an overloaded server, no caching), almost never a standalone fix.

Who needs an optimization?

E-commerce losing sales

Every extra second of load time drops conversion. Checkout flow, product pages, and internal search are optimized first.

Showcase site ranking poorly on Google

Good content but poor rankings: Core Web Vitals are often the invisible bottleneck. We measure them, fix them, and Google re-evaluates.

Media, blogs, and content sites

Ads, embeds, and images piling up article after article: an optimization plan that protects your revenue while speeding up pages.

App that’s slow on mobile

Fast on your computer, sluggish on a phone over 4G: a lighter JavaScript bundle, code splitting, and rendering optimized for real devices.

How does the engagement unfold?

  1. Initial measurement

Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and real visitor data: a reproducible, numbers-based baseline.

  2. Audit and prioritization

Every bottleneck identified, ranked by expected gain and effort required. You validate the scope.

  3. Optimizations

Images, caching, scripts, fonts, server code: fixes applied in batches, tested at every step.

  4. Final measurement

The same tests as at the start, under the same conditions: the gain is proven, not estimated.

  5. Report and follow-up

A full before/after report and recommendations to keep the site fast. Monitoring available as an option.

Frequently asked questions

Why is speed important for SEO?

Google uses loading speed as a ranking criterion. A fast site also improves user experience and reduces bounce rate.

What are Core Web Vitals?

These are Google’s metrics for measuring user experience: LCP (loading time), INP (responsiveness to clicks), and CLS (visual stability).

Can my WordPress site be optimized?

Yes, and it’s the most common case. A lighter theme, removed unnecessary plugins, server-side caching, converted images, and deferred scripts: a well-optimized WordPress site can go from 8 seconds to under 2 seconds of load time, with no redesign needed.

How much does a performance optimization cost?

The audit alone is billed at a fixed price and belongs to you: you can apply the recommendations yourself or hand the optimizations to me, quoted by batch with the expected gain. No commitment. If you would rather stop thinking about it afterwards, I can take your existing site over for hosting and upkeep from €59/month.

When will I see results on Google?

The speed gain is immediate for your visitors. On the SEO side, Google re-measures Core Web Vitals over a rolling 28-day window: the SEO effect typically shows up 1 to 2 months after going live.
