Delivered in a week Selection, click and collect, advice

Website for a wine shop

Your value is not your stock, it is your selection. A wine shop site listing eight hundred references looks like a supermarket. One that explains why these thirty bottles are there looks like you, and brings in people who came for advice.

Show a selection, not an inventory

Your picks, not your inventory

A dozen references brought forward, with what you actually say about them when someone walks in. That is what sets you apart from a marketplace, and it is also what Google finds interesting, because nobody else writes it.

Click and collect before shipping

Reserving a bottle and picking it up is easier to set up than shipping, and far more profitable: no packaging, no carrier, no breakage, and the customer walks into the shop. It is almost always the first step.

Tastings and opening hours

Your tasting evenings, your new arrivals, your Monday closing. This is what your regulars look for and what Google carries into your listing. It updates in a few minutes.

Three samples for a shop

The first is an online grocery with a three-step checkout. The second is a full store, cart included. The third presents a craft producer’s output, which suits a tight selection.

Delivered and invoiced

These are not mockups. Two freelance missions delivered for real clients, in trades other than yours: the work is the same, and the case studies are complete.

The price, no detours

€1,190 then €79/month

Setup covers design and delivery. The monthly fee covers hosting, the domain name, the certificate, backups, security updates and routine edits. One line on your statement, not five.

Frequently asked questions

Should I sell online, or just show?

Start by showing. A showcase site with reserve-and-collect costs €1,190 then €79/month, and it captures most of the local demand. Full online sales, with payment and order management, is €2,900 then €149/month: it makes sense when you have demand beyond your town, a range that travels well, and someone to pack parcels. Jumping straight to the store without that need means paying for a checkout nobody uses.

Shipping costs on wine are off-putting, aren’t they?

Often, yes, which is another reason to start with collection. Six bottles weigh eight kilos, shipping runs fifteen to twenty euros and breakage is a real risk. The maths only works above a high average basket or on references people cannot find elsewhere. We look at your numbers before deciding, not after.

My selection changes every week.

Which is exactly why we do not put the whole catalogue online. An « in right now » page with a dozen references updates in ten minutes, and it tells the story of your work better than a frozen database. The 30 minutes of monthly edits included cover that pace. Beyond it, I hand you the controls.

There are rules about advertising alcohol.

Yes, and in France they are strict. The law limits what a site may say about an alcoholic drink: communication has to stay informative, the health warning is mandatory, and aspirational advertising imagery is not allowed. In practice we describe origin, grape, strength and how it is made, and we do not stage people drinking. I know the framework and the site is built inside it, without you having to think about it.
